Is Legal Marijuana Really Smart?

Are you COMFORTABLE knowing that following occupations may NOW be more likely to be performed by people who might be under the influence of varying concentrations of marijuana in their system?

Aircraft mechanics and technicians, aerospace engineers, and assembly workers?

Surgeons, doctors, dentists, nurses, pharmacists, anesthesiologists, X-ray technicians,  laboratory technicians, and the nurses who clean the invasive medical instruments?

Gynecologists, pediatricians, day care workers, teachers, playground assistants, coaches, scout leaders, and school bus drivers?

Motorists, truck drivers, train engineers, bicyclists, signal technicians, bridge engineers, Taxi drivers, and city bus drivers?

Crane operators, forklift operators, heavy equipment operators, explosive engineers and technicians, and bridge engineers and inspectors?

Airplane pilots, ship captains and boat operators, judges, lawyers, police officers, prison guards, soldiers, fire fighters, probation officers, and medics?

Building inspectors, electrical inspectors, food inspectors, crime lab scientists, and other safety analysts?

Elected officials, government managers, bankers, criminals, and sex predators?

Pipeline engineers, refinery workers, and technicians working at nuclear reactors or even nuclear waste sites?

Military personnel who control our missiles and nuclear weapon arsenal?

It can take up to thirty days for the chemicals in marijuana that cause mental and physical impairment to be fully eliminated from the human body. Do you think it is worth the risk. (Note: Alcohol is metabolized from the body in about eight hours.) Remember, Washington and Colorado already have dopers descending upon us from other states, so there will be a much greater population of stupid people imposing negative impacts on Washingtonians. A doper from another state already has killed a pregnant woman this week. The children of pot smokers will also suffer permanent brain damage from the second hand smoke in their home. Please ask government officials to stop this madness before any more damage is done.  Now even more states have joined the stupidity.

Need relief from the heat? – Try this.

1. Place reflective material in windows that face the sun. This could be a piece of white cardboard, white cloth, a piece of cardboard or plywood covered with aluminum foil (the shiny side), of even a mirror if available. Doing this will cause significant reduction in the rate of heating caused by the sun in individual rooms and subsequently the house or apartment attached to that room. 2. Hanging a silver tarp, piece of shiny metal, a white cloth, or possibly a mirror (if safe to do so) in front of a window that the sun is shining on. This will be even more effective than having the heat barrier on the inside of the window. 3. Place a wet cloth around your neck and if possible, sit in front of a fan. The water evaporating from the cloth is especially efficient in cooling a person because veins and arteries are close to the surface of the skin in the neck allowing heat to be removed from an individual more efficiently. 4. Turn off any electrical devices in the home that are not necessary because each of these appliances will heat the room or home. The higher the wattage of these appliances, the more heat they will release into a house or room. If you don’t need it, turn it off. 5. Of course, dress in light clothing.
